Hi lovelies and happy Tuesday! I hope you enjoyed your weekend. Mine was filled with some anniversary celebration in the countryside, where we visited Chris' parents for a long weekend. Now we're back home and certainly back to reality. It's Chris' first day back at the office after 3 weeks of holiday... not fun! Anyways today's post is about our lovely trip to Stuttgart last week with our dear brand GANT.
Another month, another city! We flew out to Stuttgart for a day to check out the new GANT store that just opened recently in the city. It's located at Dorotheenstraße 8, in the Dorotheen-Quartier, which is a super cool area with lots of shops, a few restaurants and bars. As you guys know I'm a big fan of the GANT shop floor, how it's curated because makes you feel so homey. This new store does just the same while being quite modern and even offering a nice chill out corner, where you can enjoy drinks on a hot day and nibble on some sweets to keep you going, for that shopping spree. It was really my favorite place in between shooting, to get some rest and fuel up for more shopping fun. Also worth mentioning is the lovely view over the new and old castle that you can enjoy while chilling in the 'lounge' area. Apart from this highlight, the new store boats of great lightning, super spacious fitting rooms, an elevator and two floors full of amazing clothing. I of course wore a complete GANT look. This time it was a more formal one featuring very comfy trousers, a striped shirt (similar here) and a bold pink v neck jumper for a bit of color (available in navy blue here and yellow here). I added my beloved loafers (similar here) that really complemented the whole look. We had so much fun spending our day at the store and browsing through the collections. We even saw Susi again, the store manager from Munich, such a lovely woman. Afterwards we went for lunch at OHJulia as well as drinks at Waranga (both very much recommended) around the area. What we also really loved was the cool Stuttgarter Markthalle a few steps away from the store. We might have spend hours there if we didn't have to catch a flight back to Berlin.
DE: Hallo ihr Lieben! Ich wünsche euch einen tollen Dienstag und hoffe, ihr hattet ein ebenso tolles verlängertes Wochenende wie wir. Wir haben unseres im Spreewald verbracht und dort den 34. Hochzeitstag von Chris' Eltern gefeiert. Seit gestern Nachmittag sind wir wieder in Berlin und ab heute heißt es wieder, ran die Arbeit. Für Chris ist es der erste Tag im Büro, nach drei Wochen Urlaub... not fun! Auch ich widme mich wieder mehr dem Blog und freue mich besonders über den heutigen Beitrag.
Vor circa einer Woche waren Chris und ich in Stuttgart. Dort besuchten wir einen weiteren GANT Store. Dieser hat erst kürzlich eröffnet und befindet sich in der Dorotheenstraße 8, mitten im Dorotheen-Quartier. Die Location ist einfach unschlagbar. Inmitten von tollen Shops, schönen Restaurants und coolen Bars steht der neue GANT Store. Auf zwei Etagen findet ihr nun die aktuellen Kollektionen der Marke. Auch in diesem Store habe ich mich gleich sehr heimisch gefühlt, dank Liebe zum Detail was die gesamte Verkaufsfläche angeht. Besonders begeistert war ich von der coolen 'Lounge Area'. Dort kann man vom Shoppen eine kleine Pause einlegen und bei einem Drink wieder Kraft tanken. Vor allem an heißen Tagen, wird dies wohl mit der beliebteste Ort im Store sein. Wir waren außerdem auch vom tollen Ausblick aufs alte und neue Schloss begeistert, der super hellen und gut beleuchteten Verkaufsfläche (wichtig für unsere Bilder hehe), den geräumigen Umkleidekabinen, sowie dem praktischen Fahrstuhl. Für unseren Tag in Stuttgart trug ich selbstverständlich ein komplettes GANT Outfit. Dieses Mal war mein Look jedoch eher 'causal chic', denn ich trug eine bequeme Satin-Hose in marineblau zu einem gestreiften Hemd (ähnlich hier) und meinen liebsten Loafern (ähnlich hier). Als Farbtupfer diente mein gerippter Baumwoll V-Neck Pullover in knalligem Pink (erhältlich in marineblau hier und gelb hier). Wir hatten wirklich einen wundervollen Tag mit GANT in Stuttgart und waren auch von diesem Store total begeistert. Es war zudem auch schön die liebe Store-Managerin Susi wiederzusehen, die wir noch aus München kannten. Auch sie war für die Eröffnung des neuen Stores in Stuttgart. Nach unserem Besuch ging es zum Essen zu OH Julia und anschließend für Drinks zu Waranga, beide sehr empfehlenswerte Lokalitäten. Bevor es dann zum Flughafen ging, erkundigten wir noch die berühmte Stuttgarter Markthalle, wo wir wirklich alles hätten kaufen können. Dank Handgepäck blieb unser Portmonee jedoch verschont.
