Review: Last week was pretty epic you guys! I spent most of it in the city of love (unfortunately without my love though): Paris! I finally got to see my best friend again, who moved there last year.
Only when I booked the tickets did I realize that my last (and first) trip to Paris was almost 4 year ago. Back then I was still in London and studying. I took the Eurostar and met up with my best friend who, as I said lives there now. It was love at first and ever since then I have been dreaming of going back to this oh so charming city. Paris is just something special and to everyone who hasn't been there yet: GO! NOW!
Event of the week: To be honest my whole week was a highlight due to my Paris visit. What I enjoyed most was walking around the cute little streets of this beautiful city and just exploring it all over again. I did went to see the Eiffel Tower once again, but my bff and I mostly strolled through Le Marais and Montmartre, both areas of Paris I loved most and could easily see myself living in would it not be for the language barrier. Ha! I really enjoyed just walking and stoping at Cafes for coffee and a little snack. Even though Fashion Week was on while I was there, I was very happy I did not join the circus but had some me time and got to hang out with my friend. I also got to finally meet the very lovely
Sofia (who was there for Fashion Week). We've been following each other on Instagram for years and now we finally got to meet. We went to the famous cafe Angelina where coffee was too expensive for my liking but the atmosphere and interior made up for it. I also finally went into Colette ,the famous store but didn't buy anything. Still it was nice just to brows and also admire the well dressed customers. An amazing trip ended with us making pancakes on Sunday and watching Black Books before I made my way to the airport. Until next tim I'd say!

Plans: I can't wait for the weekend to be here! Chris and I are invited to a cool party our friends have planned and we have been looking forward to this for ages, or at least it feels like it. Friday will be all about work and Saturday mostly pleasure. We are planning on shooting a little bit because there is just too much work to do these days, but I really can't wait for Saturday night to finally be here. I am looking forward to dressing up, hanging out with friends and dancing to good music. On Sunday we'll probably go for brunch somewhere and just relax. I love quiet Sundays! Rückblick: Letzte Woche war einfach wundervoll, denn ich durfte sie in der Stadt der Liebe (leider aber ohne meinen Liebsten) verbringen, nämlich Paris! Endlich sah ich meine beste Freundin wieder, die letztes Jahr nach Paris gezogen ist. Ich habe erst realisiert wie lange es eigentlich her ist, dass ich das letzte (und erste) Mal in Paris war als ich meinen Flug buchte. Ganze 4 Jahr müsste es jetzt her sein. Damals wohnte und studierte ich noch in London. Mit dem Eurostar machte ich mich dann an einem Wochenende nach Paris, wo ich mich mit meiner besten Freundin traf, die jetzt glücklicherweise dort lebt. Es war Liebe auf den ersten Blick und seither wollte ich schon so oft wieder in diese tolle Stadt. Endlich hat es geklappt. Paris ist wirklich ein Traum und so so wunderschön. Wenn ihr noch nicht das Glück hattet, da gewesen zu sein, dann wird es jetzt schleunigst Zeit!
Event der Woche: Um ehrlich zu sein, war meine gesamte Woche ein absolutes Highlight, denn ich durfte sie in Paris verbringen. Am meisten hat es mir gefallen, durch die Stadt zu laufen und diese ganz neu zu erkunden. Die süßen Straßen, wunderschönen Gebäude und tollen Cafes haben es mir wirklich angetan. Wir haben uns natürlich den Eiffelturm nochmal angeschaut, aber am liebsten hielten wir uns in Montmartre und Le Marais auf. Diese beiden Gegenden sind einfach zu schön. Wenn ich jemals nach Paris ziehen würde, dann höchstwahrscheinlich dorthin - leider wird das aufgrund der Sprachbarriere jedoch nie passieren. Haha Aber ernsthaft Paris ist einfach traumhaft. Den ganzen Tag durch die Stadt spazieren und ab und zu für einen Kaffee und kleinen Snack halten, so stelle ich mir einen perfekten Städtetrip vor. Auch wenn die Pariser Fashion Week zur gleichen Zeit stattfand, hätte ich nicht glücklicher sein können, diesen Zirkus nicht mitzumachen. Stattdessen hing ich mit meiner Freundin ab und traf mich außerdem mit der lieben Sofia (sie war für die Fashion Week dort). Wir haben uns über Instagram kennengelernt und wollten uns schon unzählige Male treffen, in Paris hat es dann endlich geklappt. Mit ihr ging ich dann auch zu dem berühmten Angelina Cafe. Der Kaffee dort war meiner Meinung nach viel zu teuer und auch nichts besonderes, aber ich glaube das Ambiente und die eher pompöse Einrichtung zieht die meisten da hin. Außerdem war ich zum ersten Mal auch im bekannten Store Colette und auch wenn ich nichts gekauft habe, machte es Spaß die stylishen Menschen zu beobachten und ein bisschen Windowshopping zu betreiben. Mein wundervoller Trip endete mit einem entspannten Sonntag an dem wir zu Hause Pancakes machten und Black Books schauten, bis ich dann zum Airport musste. Bis zum nächsten Mal würde ich sagen!
New In: Wenn ihr mir auf Snapchat (@minzknows) folgt, habt ihr sicher schon sehen können, wie viele Pakete in meiner Abwesenheit bei mir eingetrudelt sind. Unter all den Paketen habe ich mich vor allem über zwei Paar Schuhe gefreut. Das erste Paar sind wundervolle schwarze Overkneestiefel die einfach perfekt sitzen. Genau nach so einem Paar habe ich schon ewig gesucht, wollte dafür aber kein Vermögen ausgeben aka Stuart Weitzmann. Umso glücklicher war ich, als Public Desire mir dieses tolle Paar zuschickte. Bald gibt es sie auch schon auf dem Blog zu sehen. Das zweite Paar Schuhe sind die unglaublich tollen Trainers von Rihanna in Zusammenarbeit mit Puma, auch besser bekannt als The Trainer by Fenty. Sie sind super bequem und multifunktional. Man kann sie im Gym, aber auch entspannt zu einem coolen Look anziehen. HIER gibt es schon mal einen Vorgeschmack von meinem persönlichen Styling...
Pläne: Ich freue mich schon unheimlich auf das Wochenende! Chris und ich sind nämlich zu einer Party von Freunden eingeladen, auf die wir uns gefühlt schon seit Ewigkeiten freuen. Am Freitag werden wir beide arbeiten und Samstag ist dann der Tag des Vergnügens. Ausschlafen ist angesagt und abends geht es dann auf die Party. Wahrscheinlich werden wir aber auch ein bisschen shooten, da es zurzeit einfach zu viele Projekte gibt die fertig gebracht werden müssen. Am Abend heißt es dann aber sich schick machen, mit guten Freunden abhängen und zu guter Musik tanzen. Am Sonntag werden wir dann nur relaxen und vielleicht irgendwo brunchen gehen. Ich liebe ruhige Sonntage einfach! Was habt ihr diese Woche noch vor?
