Stylight Fashion Blogger Awards 2014

At last. I finally can post photos of the amazing night I had with Stylight in Berlin before Fashion Week kicked off. Better late than never right? The photos I took didn't turn out well so the girls at Stylight were so kind to let me use their photos. So lovely, as always! 

The first ever Stylight Fashion Blogger Awards were an event not to be missed, an event to reward Europena Fashion Bloggers for their hard work and influence in the fashion industry. I had such an amazing night and met so many blogger friends, old ones and new ones. The beautiful and talented Chiara from The Blonde Salad hosted the night with co-host Raul Richter. They did an exquisite job and the winners of each category certainly deserved it. Kenza won 'Most influential fashion Blog' , the beautiful Negin won 'Most promising Blog', Aida of Dulceida won 'Best Style Fashion Blog' and Miss Pandora the 'Most creative Fashion Blog'! Truly inspiring women who worked hard and deserved winning.

The awarding was followed by the Mavi show - an amazing denim brand made in Istanbul and later we even were surprised with a live gig by no one other than my favorite male blogger Andreas Wijk! A truly splendid night in Berlin and amazingly organized by the Stylight team.

Chloé Resort 2014

Chloé. The Resort 2014 collection is right up my alley. Coveting the clean cuts and minimal use of colors. I am currently rethinking my style and planning loads of outfits with a different approach as opposed to what I usually wear. I am thinking, buy less but lasting pieces of better quality and focus on comfort and functionality. Stay tuned for what's next on Minnie Knows.

Weekly Musings! Sara

W.M. Let me introduce you to my new weekly post called 'Weekly Musings'! You all know what a muse is don't you? Well, inspired by my favorite blogger girl Sara from Collage Vintage, I will include an inspirational post every week. It will be fellow blogger girls that inspire me, actresses, artists of every creative background, as well as ladies in the music industry that inspire me style wise! So, the first up is....*drum roll*....

Sara of course (surprise). Not only did she inpire me to start this weekly posts, but I love here sense of style. It's so diverse yet super chic. I love how she mixes pattens and colors, sometimes going monochrome (and not only black and white, but yellow or burgundy) and often adding a little twist to her outfits with the right handbag or statement earrings! She surely is my current must go or rather must read whenever I face the 'I HAVE NOTHING TO WEAR' crisis while my wardrobe is exploding.
