Berlin Fashion Week Day 1

MBFW Day 1. Here is the promised recap on my first day at Berlin Fashion Week. I wore a rather simple outfit because I was supposed to spend the whole first day backstage with my girl Athina. I didn't quite like the full body shots we took, so this time only detail shots, which I think came out very well. 

This was actually the second day of Berlin Fashion Week, but I had to skip the first day due to our amazing Blogger Bazaar which you will read about tomorrow! 

We went to a number of shows including Minx by Eva Lutz, Bagaz and Marcel Ostertag (more on these tomorrow though), but my favorite was definitely Ep_anoui by Eva Poleschinski. I loved the monochrome agenda, it simply had something timeless, chic and very elegant. I always enjoy the more wearable collections that are not over the top but still have a little twist to them - like the gorgeous cape in the last photo and the funky accessories. Simply stunning right?

I just got back to London today. Pretty exhausted but so thankful and feeling super blessed for all the amazing people in my life and opportunities this blog and you guys who read it has brought me.

MBFW Day 1. Here is the promised recap on my first day at Berlin Fashion Week. I wore a rather simple outfit because I was supposed to spend the whole first day backstage with my girl Athina. MBFW BERLIN DAY 3 - EP_ANOUI Presentation + Outfit of the day

DAY 3 - It was quite hot again, on the third day of Fashion Week here in Berlin. The show or presentation rather, I had to attend was Ep_Anoui - Walking Dream by Eva Poleschinski.  It started off with a very artistic introduction. People in white robes and lights gave us the first impressions of the presentation. After that, the actual presentation started and thr models made their way to the runway, one after the other. Since it was a presentation, the models reached the runway and stopped right in front of us, giving us the opportunity to observe and check out the pieces of SS13 for quite a while. Eva Polenschinski's SS13 collection is all about warm tints and earth tones. It includes woven pieces and the accent of a bold yellow here and there. I really liked how the designer presented this seasons collection!

TAG 3 - Auch am dritten Tag der Fashion Week hier in Berlin, war es wieder ziemlich heiß. Die Show die heute auf dem Plan stand, oder besser Präsentation, war Ep_Anoui - Walking Dream von Eva Poleschinski. Es fing an mit einer sehr künstlerischen Einführung. Gestalten in weißen Gewändern und Lichter die sie beleuchteten gaben uns die ersten Eindrücke der Präsentation. Danach, fing die eigentliche Präsentation an und die Models machten ihren Weg zum Laufsteg, einer nach dem anderen. Da es wie gesagt eine Präsentation war, blieben diese genau vor uns auf dem Laufsteg stehen und reihten sich einer nach dem anderen an. Wir hatten die Möglichkeit uns die Stücke der SS13 Kollektion bis ins kleinste Detail anzuschauen und das für eine ganze Weile. Eva Poleschinskis SS13 Kollektion dreht sich um warme Farbtöne und Erdtöne. Es beinhaltet gewobene Teile wie auch den farblichen Akzent von kräftigem Gelb. Ich fand die Darbietung der Kollektion sehr ansprechend!

MBFW BERLIN DAY 1: FRIER Showroom + Outfit of the day

BERLINFASHION WEEK DAY 1 - I arrived in Berlin today in the morning. I was so tired, but after I got home, showered and changed in to comfy clothes, I had a friend over and then got ready for the first event during Fashion Week - FRIER Showroom SS13. Designers showing their amazing pieces. Those designers were:

there were also installations by: Chatzistefanou Panagiotis [GR], Tom Van der Borght [BE] and Isabel Vollrath [DE]


I enjoyed checking out all the SS13 pieces and hanging out with such talented people. Scott Elliott, my good friend and photograper was one of those showing at the showroom. He had his exhibition in collaboration with Isabel Vollrath. His work are the black-white photographs below, the baroque style chic with the dark edgy setting. Simply great! Since many of you were so excited to see me in my new H&M dress, I chose this for my first day in Berlin. I was going to wear it with some killer heels, but opted for black sandals in the end. I had to walk a lot because I went to an Urban Outfitters event first. The sandals served me well and I got home quite tired but at least still able to walk haha :)




BERLIN FASHION WEEK DAY 1 - Ich kam heute morgen in Berlin an. Ich war so müde, aber nachdem ich zu Hause ankam, geduscht und mir gemütliche Sachen angezogen hatte, kam eine Freundin vorbei und danach war es auch schon wieder  Zeit für's fertig machen und zwar für mein erstes Event im Rahmen der Fashion Week - FRIER Showroom SS13. Einige tolle Designer haben dort ihre SS13 Kollektionen ausgestellt. Diese waren:

Ich hatte viel Spaß dabei mir alle SS13 Kollektionen anzuschauen und mit solchen talentierten Menschen meinen Nachmittag zu verbringen. Scott Elliott, meiner guter Freund und Fotograf war einer dieser Personen. Er hat einige seiner Arbeiten in Zusammenarbeit mit Designerin Isabel Vollrath ausgestellt. Seine Arbeiten sind die schwarz-weiß Fotographien unten, die sehr was von der Barock Epoche haben, style und chic mit der ziemlich dunklen Aura. Er ist großartig und Fotographien besserer Qualität von ihm könnt ihr hier finden: SCOTT ELLIOTT PHOTOGRAPHY !
Viele von euch waren darauf gespannt wie ich in meinem neuen H&M Kleid aussehen werde, deshalb habe ich es für meinen ersten Tag in Berlin ausgewählt. Eigentlich wollte ich dazu möderische Heels anziehen, aber am Ende habe ich dann doch flache Sandalen gewählt. Ich musste viel laufen, weil ich vorher noch bei einem Event von Urban Outfitters war. Die Sandalen haben mir gut gedient, und ich kam am Abend zwar sehr müde nach Hause, aber zumindest konnte ich noch laufen haha :)
