Cotton is a fabric that I wear on the daily. You must know how much I actually do by now. But what is getting more and more important to me these days is investing in fashion pieces that are also produced fair.
I'm by far not as close to shopping fair entirely, but I would like to do my little part to support this movement and simply live with a better conscience. Even though it is much harder when it comes to shopping (than for example grocery shopping) I still have the goal to slowly but shortly fill my wardrobe with fair produced clothing. The first piece that I am happy to share here on the blog is this super cute top produced fair and made of 100% cotton. Cotton USA is my go to because they stand for high quality fabrics and products, that reflect the passion and responsibility awareness of various farmer generations. I styled my sustainable top with trousers made of cotton too, obviously proving that you can still look stylish while choosing clothes responsibly.

DE: Baumwolle trage ich fast täglich, das wisst ihr ja mittlerweile. Aber noch wichtiger wird mir täglich die Gewissheit, dass meine Kleidung auch fair produziert wurde. Ich bin zwar erst noch am Anfang aber ich steige so langsam auch auf den Zug mit auf. In anderen Bereichen achte ich schon länger darauf, wo ich was einkaufe und vor allem auch wie ich mit alltäglichen Ressourcen umgehe. Bei der Kleidung ist es jedoch etwas schwieriger. Dennoch möchte ich mich so langsam daran tun und damit beginnen meinen Kleiderschrank mit nachhaltig hergestellter Kleidung zu füllen. Dieses fair produzierte Oberteil aus 100% Baumwolle, ist meine erste Anschaffung nachhaltig hergestellter Kleidung - und ich liebe es! Cotton USA Baumwolle geht mit qualitativ hochwertigen Textil- und Bekleidungsprodukten einher, die beispielhaft die Leidenschaft und das Verantwortungsbewusstsein ganzer Farmregenerationen in den USA widerspiegeln. Ich habe mein tolles Oberteil zu einer Hose auch aus Baumwolle (was sonst) kombiniert. Dazu ein Paar lässige Sneaker und Sportschuhe und voila! Auch mit 'fairer' Mode kann man durchaus stylisch sein.

When the weather is warm enough to just wear light jackets, I like to opt for leather jackets to complement my outfits.
Today's leather jacket I actually just borrowed form my flatmate but I liked how the mix of blue and green looked together. Also the rather oversized version gives a super cool vibe to my rather chic look. I added my usual ripped black denim and comfy heels sandals to celebrate the great weather in Berlin recently. DE: Meine Liebste Übergangsjacke is definitiv die Lederjacke - daher freue ich mich gerade sehr über das Wetter. Die heutige olle Jacke habe ich mir ehrlich gesagt von meiner Mitbewohnerin ausgeliehen denn ich mochte den Mix von grün und blau. Außerdem verleiht der Oversize Look dem ganzen Outfit eine sehr coolen Vibe. Dazu stylte ich meine liebste ripped Jeans und endlich auch ml wieder Sandalen, dank tollem Wetter. Off-shoulder tops and buns seem to be a match made in heaven. I love dressing up once in a while and when I do, a bun is a must and so are lace tops, preferably off-shoulder.
This little number has got it all. The lush color and lace details go really well together. I also love how it complements my sunnies and gold jewelry. Whenever a night out or fancy evening is due I recommend styling an off-shoulder top to either trousers or even a pencil or mini skirt. You can never go wrong with an ensemble featuring this season's hottest trend (still). Happy Thursday!
DE: Off-shoulder Oberteile und Dutts sind wie für einander gemacht finde ich. Vor allem, wenn ich mich mal schick machen will steck eich meine Haare am liebsten zum Dutt hoch und trage, wie sollte es anders sein, ein trägerloses Oberteil. Und dieses Teil hat alles was ich liebe. Abgesehen davon, dass es trägerlos ist besteht es aus den tollsten Spitzenmaterial. Ob nun zur Jeans, Palazzohose oder zum Stift- oder Minirock, es passt einfach immer. Dieser Trend ist und bleibt definitiv noch eine Weile bestehen. Habt eine tollen Donnerstag meine Lieben!

Happy Monday loves! I hope you all had a great start to the new week. I feel like wearing something comfortable can make any Monday not a bad day. My go to, to fight the Monday Blues are definitely stripes. You know how much I love them! This new addition is from one of my favorite brands GANT. It's more preppy than my usual very casual striped tops/jumpers but I really love how it complements the denim. An easy outfit to start the week with!

Ich weiß nicht wie es euch geht, aber ich überstehe einen Montag immer besser, wenn ich ein Outfit trage, in dem ich mich wohlfühle. Am wohlsten fühle ich mich in allem, was Streifen hat aber das wisst ihr mittlerweile ja. Dieses neue Teil in meinen Kleiderschrank ist außerdem von meiner Lieblingsmarke GANT. Dieses mal handelt es sich um die tolle S/S Kollektion von GANT Originals. Ich finde sie passt super zur Jeans und macht im Ganzen einen entspannten Look mit dem man in die Woche starten kann!

Review: Happy Friday people! Long time no weekly update. Apologies for that but my past few weeks have been either rusher busy to nothing happened at all, apart from working (on the sofa). So I decided to round up the past few weeks in this article. No worries it's not going to be a novel... hehe
Event(s) of the Week(s): Multiple major things happened the past few weeks. At first all the Fab4Media came ti Berlin for the Press Days. I normally resent going there (if it wasn't for the lovely people). But going all by yourself can be quite boring. So having my blogger colleagues and brand managers Michi and Isi in Berlin made those two days very special, and a lot of fun. We visited various PR agencies as a group and hung out in-between meetings. The whole fun was topped by a lovely dinner organized by Michi and Isi. The whole crew met up at the Grace restaurant after a long day of meetings. Amazing people + delicious food + great music + an abundance of drinks. We had an excellent night.
Another big thing had happened is my move into a new apartment, which was the easiest move I have ever had. We literally just moved across the hall in the apartment our neighbors used to live in. I'm so happy about our new place. It's an Altbau flat again but newly renovated which is just amazing (we don't have to clean as much anymore haha). Also it is indeed cheaper than the old and some much prettier. Happiness level at the moment? 100%!
New In: I haven't been shopping in what feels like ages, but I received some lovely items for a collaboration with ASOS recently which you were able to see already! I'm especially in love with the cool trainers. The platform gives them a really laid back vibe and the color can easily be worn to jeans or dresses. I also always wanted a t-shirt like that - white but with navy blue details on both sleeves and round neck. How did you like the combination? Shop simile trainers below!
Plans: Everytime I tell you about my plans, I feel like they are always about traveling to the Spreewald to visit Chris' family. well, the holidays are coming up again and guess what we are doing? Visiting Chris' parents again hehe. To be honest I always look forward to going there. The food is always amazing and it's so nice to just relax in the countryside and get some rest.
However we also have started to plan our summer and I couldn't be more excited about it. In June I'm traveling to Croatia with my dear Jacky. We are going on a sailing trip! I seriously can not wait for that. Another exciting holiday happening in July which we just broke our flights for last night, in a trip to Nice and up to Bagnols. There we will be visiting the family of my best friend in the south of France. I always loved these visits when I was still living in London. So naturally I'm very excited to make it there again this year. I can't wait for long summer nights, exceptional food and wine and the great times with amazing people. So here is to summer!

Rückblick: Happy Friday meine Lieben! Es ist lange her, dass es ein Weekly Update auf dem Blog gab. Entschuldigung dafür, aber entweder war ich so busy, dass ich nicht dazu kam eines zu verfassen, oder aber meine Woche war so langweilig und gefüllt mit der Arbeit (auf dem Sofa), dass es einfach nichts spannendes zu erzählen gab. Und schwups sind schon wider 3 Wochen um. Heute gibt es dafür eine kleine Zusammenfassung meiner letzten Wochen mit entsprechenden Highlights. Keine Sorge, es wird kein Roman.....hehe
Event der Woche: Vieles ist aber irgendwie doch passiert, zumindest an einigen Tagen. Zum einen fanden ja die Press Days in Berlin statt. Normalerweise freue ich mich nicht wirklich drauf, da ich sonst alleine von Agentur zu Agentur renne. Dies kann nach 8h ziemlich langweilig und anstrengend werden. Dieses Mal jedoch, war es ganz anders, denn die gesamte Fab4Media Crew war mit von der Partie. Viele reisten am ersten Tag aus Hamburg an und wir alle klapperten dann gemeinsam die Agenturen ab. Es hat wirklich eine Menge Spaß gemacht und die Tage vergingen wie im Flug. Das absolute Highlight war am Abend dann das Fab4media Dinner mit allen Bloggern und den allerliebsten Managern Michi und Isi, die alles so toll organisiert haben. Im Restaurant Grace verbrachten wir einen wunderschönen Abend, mit tollen Menschen, mega leckererem Essen weis Drinks und guter Musik. Ein wirklich wundervoller Abend!
Was die letzten Tage noch so weltbewegendes passiert? Ich bin umgezogen! Seit Mai wohne ich in einem wunderschönen Apartment. Es war mit Abstand der leichteste Umzug meines Lebens, denn wir sind in die Wohnung gegenüber gezogen. Und das Beste an der neuen Wohnung ist, dass sie ein renovierter Altbau ist und außerdem auch günstiger ist als die alte und dazu noch so viel schöner. Ich bin derzeit wirklich der glücklichste Mensch der Welt!
New In: Ich bin gefühlt, schon ewig nicht mehr shoppen gewesen, dafür habe ich kürzlich jedoch für eine tolle Kooperation mit ASOS einige schöne Teile bestellen dürfen. Diese gab es ja schon hier auf dem Blog zu sehen. Vor allem bin ich in die super coolen Sneaker mit dem leichten Plateauabsatz verliebt. Ich finde sie passen nicht nur toll zur Jeans, sondern können auch super leicht zu einem Kleid kombiniert werden. Auch finde ich das weiße T-Shirt super, welches durch die blauen Details am Ausschnitt sowie den Ärmeln, noch lässiger aussieht. Wie gefiel euch denn dieser Look? Pläne: Jedes mal, wenn ich euch von meinen Plänen erzähle scheint es um Ferien im Spreewald zu gehen. Naja bald stehen wie einige freie Tage vor der Tür und ratet Mal wo es uns wieder hin verschlägt? In den Spreewald. Diesmal sind wie jedoch nur einen Tag dort und besuchen Chris' Familie, da seine Oma gerade aus Österreich zu Besuch ist. Ich freue mich immer wieder, wenn wir dorthin fahren. Neben tollen Essen und der immer spaßigen Zeit mit Chris Eltern und Geschwistern, neue mich darauf dort abzuschalten und von Alltagsstress runterzukommen.
Dieses Jahr sind aber auch aufregende Reisen geplant. Im Juni geht es für mich mit meiner liebsten Jacky nach kroatien, wo wir 1 Woche lang segeln werden und das Land erkunden werden. darauf freue och mich schon seit fast einem Jahr. Nächsten Monat ist es endlich soweit! Des weiteren steht im Juli dann eine Woche Südfrankreich auf dem Plan. Gestern haben wir endlich unsere Flüge gebucht und ich freue mich so sehr die Familie meiner besten Freundin wieder besuchen zu können. Als ic noch in London studierte gehört so ein Kurztrip immer zu meinen liebsten in den Semesterferien. Endlich habe ich wieder die Zeit gefunden, eine reise dorthin möglich zu machen. Uns erwarten eine Woche voller Sonne, warmen Nächten, großartigem Essen sowie bestem Wein und natürlich Zeit mit meinen Lieblingsmenschen. Auf den Sommer!

Spring has definitely sprung which is why I ditched my coat for this white t-shirt, added some jeans and trainers. The result: a sporty look wearable on the daily!
White shirts a simply a wardrobe staple, I'm sure you all would agree. This one I especially love though, because of the blue details on the shirts sleeves and round neck. I also adore the black denim because of the lovely bow hem detail. Super cute right? I added some comfy sneakers to finish this casual look off. How do you like the outfit? DE: Der Frühling zeigte sich die letzten Tage wieder von seiner besten Seite! Für mich hieß das natürlich, Mantel im Schrank lassen und im T-Shirt + Jeans durch die Straßen spazieren. Weiße T-Shirts gehören in jeden Kleiderschrank, da werden mir viel von euch sicher zustimmen. Diese besondere Shirt gefällt mir jedoch vor allem, wegen seiner tollen Details am Ausschnitt und den Ärmeln. Die marineblauen Akzente machen das T-Shirt für mich zu was besonderem. Auch begeistert bin ich von den Schleifendetails an der Skinny Jeans. Einfach süß oder? Um meinen sportlichen Look perfekt in Szene zu setzten, trug ich die bequem Sportschuhe mit leichten Plateausohle. Wie gefällt euch mein Outfit?
