Happy Monday you guys may your coffee be as strong as your eyebrow game! :D Today I'm sharing some lovely photos I recently shot when meeting up with my dear friend Jules at her beautiful studio BLINKBLINK in Wedding.
This is where these photos were taken spontaneously! I must admit I always wanted to shoot some kind of homestory and this happens to be just that. It's something a little bit different to the usual streetstyle-ootd-post! Also the studio is so photographable, it would have been as ahme not to take some shots. DE: Kürzlich besuchte ich meine gute Freundin Jules in ihrem wundervollen Studio BLINKBLINK im Wedding! Dieses Studio ist wohl das coolste, dass ich je gesehen habe. Einfach alles in diesem Studio lässt sich so leicht in Szene setzen. Wir nutzten die Gelegenheit daher gleich um einige Bilder zu schießen. Ich finde das Ergebnis kann sich echt sehen lassen oder? Ich muss zugeben, dass ich schon immer eine Homestory schooten wollte und da dies, bis ich eine eigene Wohnung habe, nicht wirklich möglich sein wird, ist diese Studiostory ein super Ersatz. Today's short article is of a different kind. Remember I recently shot some amazing photos with the Apricotberlin team? Well, truth is, Jess & Tiago, the creative duo behind the brand, are not purely photographers. They actually specialize in creating cinema graphs. What's that you ask? Well continue reading...

Before I met them I have never heard of cinema graphs (shame on me). But when came across Aprictoberlin i was really curious to find out what this kind of creative outlet is and how it's produced. So basically a cinema graph is '' a living moment in an otherwise still photograph. It exists in the world in between a photograph and video to bring to life the image and make it last forever.'' (Kevin Burg and Jamie Beck) I'm really fascinated by this beautiful way of conveying a certain message. Simply beautiful! What do you think? DE: Erinnert euch noch an die tollen Bilder die ich mit Apricotberlin für s.Oliver machte? Heute gibt  es wieder eine coole Zusammenarbeit mit diesem super kreativen Duo! Jess und Tiago sind nämlich nicht nur talentierte Fotografen, sondern kreieren auch wundervolle Cinemagraphs. Was das ist? Cinemagraphs oder auch „bewegte Bilder“, sind Fotos, die eine in sich stets wiederholende Bewegung enthalten. Dem Betrachter entsteht auf diese Weise die Illusion eines kurzen surrealen Videos. So lässt sich mithilfe gezielter Animation die Aufmerksamkeit des Betrachters auf einen bestimmten Teil eines Bildes lenken. Um Cinemagraphs zu kreieren benötigt man mindestens eine Video Datei, die sich in einer Bildbearbeitungssoftware (z.B. Photoshop) zu einer nahtlosen Abspielschleife zusammenfügen lässt. Dazu ist es wichtig, dass das Subjekt des Bildes versucht so still wie möglich zu sein, um eine genaue Abgrenzung zwischen der sich stets wiederholenden Bewegung und dem statischem Teil zu kreieren. Wir haben genau so ein Cinemagraph in einem coolen Berlin Café kreiert und ich bin einfach begeistert von dieser Art der Vermittlung einer bestimmte Message! Berliner Post

Happy Weekend my loves! I hope you're enjoying yours. Berlin has been a mess when it comes to weather. You never know what to wear when you leave the house in the morning.

It's been super cold. Cold as in, you-can-see-your-breath-cold. Yes that cold! But then in between those crazy cold days, we've had days where you could have walked around town in a tee and light cardigan only. Whenever I don't know what to wear (which is everyday these days) I opt for a jumper + jeans + sneaker combo. So when Ayten and I met to shoot I looked rather casual. But I must admit I love wearing clothes I feel comfy, as opposed to being super dressed up. Especially when it comes to work wear for office day. So today I sharing a very laid back outfit consisting of my favorite pieces to wear, when I don't actually know what to wear! I've sliced the look up with some more chic accessories like my YSL Bag and my al time favorite Triwa Sunglasses. How do you like it?

DE: Ich wünsche euch allen ein tolles Wochenende! Ich hoffe ihr genießt die freien Tage. An alle meine Berliner, habt ihr auch Problem euch dem Wetter in Berlin anzupassen? Also ich muss sagen, in den letzten Tagen weiß man wirklich nie was man anziehen soll. An manchen Tagen ist es superkalt. So kalt, dass man seinen Atem schon sieht. Und dann haben wir wieder Tage wie heute, an denen man ganz entspannt in Shirt und Cardigan rumlaufen kann. Als ich mich mit der lieben Ayten traf, erwischten wir natürlich genau solch einen Tag. Eigentlich war es recht angenehm, musste jedoch zwischendurch immer wieder nieseln, was das Outfit Shooting natürlich erschwerte. Nichtsdestotrotz haben wir es geschafft ein Paar tolle Bilder von meinem Look zu  fotografieren. An Tagen wie dem besagten trage ich am liebsten Kleidung, in der ich mich wohlfühle. Pulli, Jeans und Senker sind meine Formel für solche Tage, vor allem wenn ich die ganze Zeit im Office verbringe. Ein legeres Outfit kann man ja durchaus auch durch Accessoires aufpassen. Ich tat da sin diesem Fall mit meiner schicken YSL Tasche und  meiner aller liebsten TRIWA  Sonnenbrille. Wie findet ihr den Look?

Navy & Stripes

I never met a striped top I didn't like and this one especially seems to go perfect with my new navy coat by GANT.  Today's look consists of probably my most favorite pieces in my favorite colors.
Navy and breton striped simply give an outfit that extra french touch. No woman could say no to looking très chic right? How do you like styling striped clothes?

DE: Ihr wisst ja mittlerweile sicher schon wie gerne ich Streifen auf meiner Kleidung liebe. Noch mehr liebe ich es jedoch, ein gestreiftes Kleidungsstück mit Marineblauen Teilen zu kombinieren. Im heutigen zeige ich euch daher genau das! Ich finde in Streifen und Marineblau sieht man auch immer gleich so französisch aus. Und ganz ehrlich, welche Frau möchte das nicht? Wie kombiniert ihr Streifen am liebsten?

Monday Blues

Great start to the new week loves! I hope you'll get over the Monday blues rather quickly. Today I'm sharing with you another look that I really like wearing in autumn as well as winter. I feel like now is the time to get all my coats out. This is another coat I'll be wearing on the daily this season.

I shot these with the lovely Mikuta who is not only an amazing blogger but also a very talented photographer. I was wearing an ensemble I could seriously wear everyday. Apart from an almost all black outfit (which is always a good idea), I added some light blue cashmere jumper to give my look some color!

DE: Ich wünsche euch einen tollen Start in die neue Woche ihr ihr Lieben! Ich hoffe euer Montag wird produktiv. Heute gibt es einen weiteren Fall/Winter Look auf dem Blog. Mittlerweile ist es definitiv Zeit meine ganzen Mäntel aus dem Schrank zu holen. Das ist wohl das einzig schöne an dem kalten Wetter. Dieser Mantel ist zwar auch erst kürzlich bei mir angekommen, aber gehört jetzt schon zu meinen Lieblingen.  Deshalb, musste ich ihn sofort ablichten. Dieses Mal traf ich mich mit der tollen Jaqueline vom Blog Mikuta.nu, die nicht nur erfolgreiche Bloggerin ist, sondern auch eine super talentierte Fotografin. Aber überzeugt euch mal selbst! Wie findet ihr mein schwarzdominiertes Outfit mit einem Hauch von Babylau? Meinen neuen tollen Kashmir Pullover, kann ich übrigens auch nicht mehr ausziehen.

Monday Blues

Great start to the new week loves! I hope you'll get over the Monday blues rather quickly. Today I'm sharing with you another look that I really like wearing in autumn as well as winter. Autumn Favorites

The perfect camel coat recently landed in my wardrobe and I couldn't be more excited about it. Finding the ideal camel coat has proven to be more tedious than I thought. Until I checked out the new range at s.Oliver.

This brand has become my go to when it comes to wardrobe staples that last for more than one season. What I appreciate about this coat is that it's light enough to be worn in autumn but sure makes a great winter coat when making use of layering. I paired it with a white jumper and grey jeans. I love this ensemble dominated by muted colors. What's your absolute favorite piece for autumn?

DE: Der perfekte Camel Coat ist in meinem Kleiderschrank gelandet und ich könnte aufgeregter nicht sein. Ich suche schon sehr lange nach dem idealen beigefarbenen Mantel. Bei s.Oliver habe ich ihn endlich gefunden. Farbe, Länge und Passform sind einfach ideal. Ich muss zugeben, dass der Onlineshop von s.Oliver mich bisher nie enttäuscht hat, wenn es um Kleidungsstücke geht, die mehr als nur eine Saison überleben. Genau so ein Teil ist auch dieser Mantel. Abgesehen davon, dass ich die Farbe supertoll finde, schätze ich an dem Mantel auch, dass man ihn im Herbst und auch im Winter tragen kann. Er ist sehr leicht und gleichzeitig habe ich genügend Platz, um mich darunter schön warm anzuziehen. Im heutigen Outfit trug ich einen weißen Pullover und eine graue Jeans, sowie schwarze Chelseas Boots zum Mantel. Meine gedeckte Farbpalette wird mit der tollen Tasche von Mango perfekt abgerundet.
