Productive mornings.

Coat Zara/ Jumper & Leather pants c/o Second Female/ Scarf Vintage/ Shoes Vans/ watch c/o Klaus Kobec / Bag no name bought in Italy

Yesterday I wore the most chilled outfit for an early morning meeting with my dear Jules. On the hunt for a great location to shoot an upcoming story, we happenend to walk passed the pretty Liebeskind Berlin store in Mitte. We impromptu decided to use the opportunity to shoot my #OOTD. The weather was super nice for shooting after all. I wore my all time favourite shoes, my beloved Vans! These must be the most comfy shoes ever. Everyone who owns a pair will know what I'm talking about...! Also, my newest must have accessory is this gorgeous Klaus Kobec watch in Rosegold. I'll show you another favorite watch I kindly received from the lovely guys at Klaus Kobec soon. I hope you guys had a productive Monday - I sure did.
Enjoy the photos!

Monday morning...

Coat Zara/ Jumper and Leather Pants c/o Second Female/ Watch c/o Klaus Kobec / Vintage Scarf
Mondays... there is no such thing as a Monday blues when you wake up extra early to meet one of your amazing friends and shoot in your favorite City you're lucky enough to call home. That's basically what Jules and I did this morning. The weather has been awkwardly good (can you even say that haha) It's been really sunny and warm so we met up in Mitte this morning and got to snap today's #OOTD for you guys - stay tuned for the final images!

Insta-Berlin part 2

Berlin #2. My Berlin life through Instagram continues with more snap shots of the past month(s) I have spent back home. You know me, I like a good lunch, a great coffee and even greater company.

1. Autumn must be my second favorite time of the year in Berlin. I mean how pretty do the leaves look?
2. Since my office is located around Potsdamer Platz, I often meet friends for lunch at Vapiano - great place to grab some food. The Nicoise Salad is my personal favorite but the Pasta is delicious too you probably know what I'm talking about...).
3. Another thing I love love love to do: hanging out in parks with my best friend. There's nothing like it on a warm autumn day.
4. A picture taken in my recent found gem - yes, another cafe in my neighborhood.
5. Yummiest dinner I've had in long time in a restaurant - at Spreegold.
6. Leaves, leaves, leave , yes I can't get enough of them.
7. A thought written on the wall of my new favorite cafe - serving you great coffee and making you think about life. That's what I call exceptional service hehe
8. More food, more coffee... yeah that's my life basically.
9. No not food again, well not quite. Tried out the burger restaurant Hans im Glück for the first time, with my amazing friends. You  must pop by when you're in Berlin next time!

***

DE: Mein vollgepacktes Leben in Berlin mady by Instagram.. naja nicht wirklich!

I'm way cooler on Social Media...

Berlin. Yes, I'm still alive. It's rather embarrassing that my last post was published over a month ago. But what can I say, life has been incredibly crazy ever since I came back to Berlin and started interning at Harper's Bazaar Germany! Especially since I started just when Fashion Week madness began. What a hectic month it has been. But lots of fun too

It has been exactly 1 Month and 20 days now - I have learnt so much in such little time and it time has passed by quicker than ever.

So since I have a few minutes to breathe right now I thought I'd give you a little update and share part 1 of way too man snaps on my Instagram the past month here in Berlin.... I seriously am way cooler on Social Media! Make sure to follow me HERE as I update quite regularly

Teil 2 Folgt....

SUNDAY POST: To New beginnings

Harper's Bazaar. I scheduled my Sunday post just to find out (while at work today) that it hadn't been published = FAIL! So sorry guys so you have to read my Sunday post on a Monday!  I'm rather annoyed at this but I am much more happy about what I am going to tell you now:
New York has been postponed... for the time being!
I know *bohooo* but I am not sad at all, as a matter of fact I am thrilled and more than delighted to postpone my New York venture because....... *drum roll*

I AM GOING TO BERLIN AND WILL BE WORKING FOR THE BEST MAGAZINE EVER:  Harper's Bazaar Germany!
It all happened so quick - I am still trying to comprehend that I will be spending the next 4 months (for now) in Berlin, with my family and the best friends, working in the online editorial office department of my all time favorite Magazine. I mean, I can not put it any other way than saying, a dream has truly come true!

''As soon as you stop wanting something you get it.'' - Andy Warhol

Doesn't this quote just hit the nail on the head? Okay, I didn't really stop wanting this Internship but for quite some time I had, unintentionally 'forgotten' about my dream. Let's put it that way. I have always seen my future at Harper's Bazaar (I'm not even joking) but you know how things work. Life happens, you experience things, take on different jobs and let yourself be influenced by all kind of things, and people.
For me, I've always loved writing. But somewhere along the way, of studying while juggling work, multiple other obligations and the blog I kind of ended up wanting to do something else (not so completely different), that would not involve as much writing as I actually loved to!  So during my final year at Uni I started to develop this desire of going to New York for a month or two before moving back home and to work at a PR Agency. Well, you know how that worked out hehe

When Harper's Bazaar extended an invitation to come work in the Berlin office, I could have never said no! What an amazing opportunity this is guys. I can't wait to get to Berlin and for my first day as an official team member of Harper's Bazaar alongside one of my favorite babes Veronika Heilbrunner!

So if you have a dream, do your best to work towards it and never give up. But once you have done all you could, do have some patience and you will get what you want!

Happy Sunday ermm... Monday

Interior Inspo

Interior Love. Those of you who follow me on Instagram HERE will know that I'm soon moving back to Berlin, the city of my heart, my first love and home! I'm so excited for all that is ahead of me, starting with my new apartment and how to decorate it. So expect an interior post on this space now and then, from now on! I simply delight in looking at interior photos especially on Pinterest just to get some inspiration on what I want to do with my room, kitchen or home work space!
I'm still looking for the perfect apartment which proves to be more of a challenge than I thought but once I found my dream place, I can't wait to start decorating!

P.S If any of you are from Berlin and know of anyone looking to rent his/her 2 bed Apartment (preferably in Prenzlauer Berg, Kreuzberg or Friedrichshain) then let me know!

Have a lovely day!

Wedding Attire

Wedding. As you have already seen in my previous Berlin article (HERE), this is what I wore to my friend's wedding that i was honored to be part of! I know I know black isn't really the color to wear to a wedding but I thought one can never go wrong with a little black dress. I was so happy when I found this little stunner by Monsoon! The detailing is so gorgeous and the length was just perfect too. I paired it with black mid heels and voila, I was good to go.

The whole wedding day festivities which were so very beautiful, made me think about what a huge decision it actually is to say 'I DO' and dedicate one's life to this one person. Many of my friends have been getting married lately and I couldn't be more happy for them! I'm so impressed by everyone who takes that step and decides to spend the rest of his/her life with the ONE person that makes them truly happy. Isn't that what everyone wants in life?
I am so incredibly happy for my friends who are now husband and wife.

CONGRATS AGAIN!

TRAVEL: Berlin

Monsoon Dress // Chanel Bag // New Look Heels // Bvlgari Bracelet // Vintage Earrings

Berlin. As promised, here are the photos I managed to snap in Berlin while busy catching up with family and friends and spending quality time with my loved ones! After my amazing trip to and throughout the South of France, I spent a week in Berlin where I primarily visited to attend the wedding of a very good friend of mine, hence the fancy first photo up there! I had a splendid time, as usual.
Those of you who have been to Berlin know how special this city is. I have been missing home, family and my friends a lot lately and although I'm currently planning my 2 months stay in New York (starting next month), I am so excited to start putting my permanent move back to Berlin into action!
I simply can't wait to be reunited with my lovelies and explore my favorite city in a way I would have never had 4 years ago. Don't get me wrong, I love my life in London and will always be coming back, especially for work but, Berlin has a very special place in my heart! That feeling of complete happiness is what I look forward to the most.

Do you have a favorite city? Where do you love living most?

I have recently been obsessed with the blog of Jana - it's so refreshing and different to all blogs out there! I especially love the Monday Update and am inspired to start my personal Weekly update on Minnie Knows- NOW!

TRAVEL: From Nice with Love

Holidays. Two weeks of sun, delicious food, good wine and the best association have unfortunately come to an end. To be precise, I've been back since Thursday last week but upon my arrival I instantly fell into the so called post holiday blues! Nice - was the dream destination this year. Well, it more or less has become tradition to spend a week up in Bagnols, the south of France with my best friend and family.
I started my holiday in Nice, where I arrived and was picked up but my lovelies! After an amazing weekend in the village and trips to Marseilles for a special event, we finally got to chill and hang out by the beach in Saint Raphael which is approximately 40 mins on the bus from where my friend lives. We met up with other friends and mostly walked around town, taking photos of pretty houses and doors! The Côte D'Azur must be my favorite place on earth! The scenery is just beyond stunning and the weather always perfect!

During the week we then had time for a venture to Cannes, a place I have always dreamed of visiting. It was beautiful to walk around and just admire the beautiful buildings and shops! We did some shopping (obviously) and had lunch before we headed back home on the train. It only took about 30 min to travel from Nice to Cannes! How amazing huh?! My amazing holiday continued with more beach-ing, eating, chilling and drinking! After an amazing day in the old town of Nice (where we did some more shopping and took more photos hehe) we finally took a car to Italy, Bordighera and enjoyed a day at the famous Market along the beach. We did all this in just a week. What an amazing trip - I can't wait to get back next year!

On my last day, which actually was the same day I went to Italy, I was driven to the airport and caught my flight to Berlin! So I literally had breakfast in France, lunch in Italy and dinner in Germany! Crazy right!? Well when one has the opportunity, one must take it!

I hope you enjoy my little diary! Berlin photos will follow in the next post. Have you been to any of these places?

Happy Monday!
