Black and white

While I'm currently in London enjoining the great weather and amazing times with my family, I thought I should shed some more light one of my favorite outfits I wore in Split. You saw the whole look in this previous article already.  I wore a black and white ensemble that I got to choose from the new collection at New Yorker.
An easy breazy holiday look consisting of a pretty top with a tribal-likeprint and black shorts. The shorts must be my favorite because they fit so well and can be paired with cool shirts and more feminine blouses or tops. I almost wore it all through my holiday. I added some color to my look with simple flat sandals I bought at Zara in Cannes 2 years ago. The leopard print went well with my sunnies and added a playful twist to my look. It really was the perfect look in the Croatian heat, especially when doing sightseeing.

DE: Während ich gerade in London bin und das tolle Wetter sowie eine wundervolle Zeit mit meiner Familie genieße, gibt es heute mehr von meinem Lieblingslook aus Kroatien. Den konntet ihr ja hier schon in einem anderen Artikel sehen. Mein schwarz-weißer Look bestand aus einigen tollen Teilen, die ich mir aus der neuen Kollektion von New Yorker aussuchen durfte. Ein sehr leichter und angenehmer Look bestehend aus einem Top mit coolem Muster und einer schwarzen lässigen Shorts. Die Shorts gehört mittlerweile zu meinen Lieblingsteilen im Schrank. Im Urlaub habe ich sie fast täglich getragen, denn man kann sie vielseitig kombinieren. Ob mit einer schicken Bluse und Heels, oder einem lässigen T-Shirt und Birkenstocks, sie passt einfach zu allem. In diesem Fall habe ich den schicken Look gewählt und mit meinen Sandalen von Zara einige Farbakzente gesetzt. Das Leomuster auf den Sandalen ergänzte meine TRIWA Thelma Sonnenbrille super. Mein perfektes Outfit für einen langen Tag voll Sightseeing in Kroatien.

Even though the weather in Berlin doesn't look very promising at the moment I still feel like wearing summer whites. I especially love blouses or tunics because you can style them in many ways. You can go from a more chic look to a very casual one wearing the same blouse.
I wore this ensemble a few weeks ago and must say it has become one of my favorite summer pieces. You can get similar ones here, here or here. I do love a all white outfit when the weather allows. So this is just up my alley.

DE: Auch wenn das Wetter in Berlin zurzeit nicht sonderlich nach Sommer aussieht, lasse ich es mir nicht nehmen meine liebste Sommerfarbe zu tragen: Weiß! Am liebsten trage ich im Sommer weiße Blusen oder Tuniken wie hier vor einigen Wochen in Berlin. Ich finde man kann sie einfach sehr vielseitig stylen, ob schicker oder lässiger, mit den richtigen Accessoires kann man ein tolles Outfit zusammenstellen. Die Bluse hier ist von Esprit, ähnliche findet ihr hier, hier oder hier. Ich persönlich liebe ja ein #allwhite Outfit. Ich hoffe es ist bald wieder warm genug, damit ich endlich wieder weiß tragen kann!

All Star

I'm back in Berlin and already missing the amazing weather in Croatia. Before I'll start spamming you with my amazing travel photos I wanted to squeeze in a fashion related post. It's about time I guess.
All Stars must be my all time favorite sneaker. I have had my white ones for years now. But after attending the Soutside Festival a few days ago, my favorite pair is not what it used to be. The rain and mud ruined them completely, so I'm currently looking for a new pair. This time I was thinking of picking up something a little bit different to the classic white ones I had. On my hunt for the perfect new pair of All Stars, I stumbled over these from OTTO. I love this burgundy red. It's quite a game changer don't you think? Are you guys All Star fans? What's you fvourite color?

DE: Ich bin wieder gut in Berlin angekommen, aber vermisse Kroatien und das tolle Wetter jetzt schon. Doch bevor ich euch mit Urlaubsbildern vollspamme, gibt es heute mal wieder etwas modisches auf dem Blog! Jeder Mensch besitzt wohl ein Paar dieser coolen Sneaker: All Stars. Sie gehören zu meinen liebsten Sportschuhen. Leider habe ich mir meine auf dem Southside Festival komplett versaut und suche zurzeit deshalb nach einem neuen Paar. Nun will ich aber nicht wieder die klassischen weißen oder schwarzen nehmen, sondern bin auf der Suche nach was flippigerem. Dabei bin ich bei OTTO fündig geworden. Das Rot wäre mal eine willkommene Abwechslung. Was meint ihr? Seid ihr auch ein All Star Fan? Welches ist eure Lieblingsfarbe?

All Star

I'm back in Berlin and already missing the amazing weather in Croatia. Before I'll start spamming you with my amazing travel photos I wanted to squeeze in a fashion related post. It's about time I guess.

May Favorites

1. ACCESSORIES 

You can never go wrong with a classic watch. My current favorite one is the Chestnut Hvalen by Triwa. So classic and timeless. I love the contemporary design. It's actually unisex made of a gold plated case and mesh band. Such a versatile piece. You need to get yourself one. NOW!

2. FEDORA HATS

Summer's here which means it's hat season. Okay I have to admit I wear hats whatever season. But Summer has to be my favorite one for fedoras in particular. I like adding a classic fedora to any of my outfits, whether it's a classic or casual one.My favorite fedora (I've had it for almost3 years now) is this one from H&M. Get a similar one here. 

3. DRESSES

This habit is most probably also a result of the good weather we've been enjoying recently. I have started to ditch my trousers for dresses and skirts. This one was a particurlaly special one. My favorite evening dress is from Warehouse. I wore it to the wedding of my amazing friends in London recently. The shoes are Steve Madden and the bag is from Topshop.

4. SEAFOOD

I wish this could be a 'favorite' I could enjoy in Berlin, as much as I did in Spain. From octopus to prawns and mussels all kinds of seafood was simply delicious. We had the below dish at a restaurant just by the water called El Cangrejo Colorao. I seriously couldn't get enough of the seafood in Fuerteventura. Do you guys know of any good seafood restaurants in Berlin? Or even in Split, where I'm traveling the day after tomorrow?

5. PRINTS & FABRICS

You've seen one of the below favorites in my recent Fuerteventura article. We shot an editorial for C&A with talented photographer Lina Zangers and Farina of Novalanalove was kind enough to lend me the beautiful clutch. I simply adore the detailed fabric of it. HTC RE

My holiday in Croatia is just around the corner. I'm leaving Berlin in a few days, for 2 weeks of summer, sun and beach. I'll be spending another 3 days in the south of Germany attending a music festival, as I told you in my previous article. I can't wait to land in Split and see the city for the first time. I'm bringing my new HTC RE camera with me, to document my whole trip for you guys.
This little thing can not only take photos, but can also record videos even in slow motion mode. I am excited to try it out. The coolest feature though is that you can connect it with your iphone by downloading the RE app. This will allow you to use the effects such as fish-eye effect as well as different resolutions and time-lapse. It will also make it possible to save the photos directly to your phone. My personal highlight though is that the RE camera in water resisent - so look forward to under water image from Croatia!

DE: Nicht mehr lange, und es geht für mich endlich nach Split in Kroatien und von dort aus nach Rab. Auf mich warten 2 Wochen Sommer, Sonne und Strand. Nach unserer Zeit in Kroatien geht es für 3 Tage zum Southside Musikfestival (das konntet ihr hier ja bereits lesen). Ich freue mich schon total wieder zu verreisen. Ich war bisher noch  nie in Kroatien, aber Split soll ja wunderschön sein. Deshalb kann ich es kaum erwarten die Stadt zu sehen und dort zu fotografieren. Auf diese Reise nehme ich meine neue  HTC RE Kamera mit. Ich werde damit meinen Trip dokumentieren. 
Dieses kleine Gerät hat nämlich  so einiges drauf! Man kann damit nicht nur fotografieren, sondern auch Videos aufnehmen. Zu den coolen Features der Kamera gehört der Slow Motion Modus bei Videoaufnahmen, Weitwinkel, verschiedene Auflösungen und Time Lapse (alle paar Sekunden wird ein Foto geschossen und anschließend zu einem kurzem Film zusammengefügt). Diese Möglichkeiten hat man, wenn man die RE App herunterlädt, mit der man die Kamera mit dem Smartphone verbinden kann. So kann man die Bilder auch direkt auf dem Smartphone speichern. Außerdem ist die Kamera wasserdicht, was für meinen Urlaub natürlich am interessantesten ist. Freut euch auf coole Unterwasserbilder aus Kroatien!

I can't believe it's almost two weeks ago that I travelled to Fuerteventura. I miss the sun, the beach, amazing food and even the windy part of the trip a little. Luckily Berlin is feeling like summer too these days. Otherwise I would moaning even more now guys. Anyways, thinking back to my time with Styleranking and my blogger ladies, I just have to share these amazing beauty products with you. The sunscreen and moisturizer by Paula's Choice kept me good company in Fuerteventura.

DE: Meine Woche auf Fuerteventura ist jetzt schon fast zwei Wochen her. Wie schnell die Zeit doch vergeht. Ich vermisse die Sonne, den Strand, das tolle Essen und sogar den Wind (ein bisschen). Immerhin fühlt sich Berlin in letzter Zeit auch an wie Sommer, sonst würde ich hier noch viel mehr jammern müssen haha Außerdem bin ich ja auch ganz bald wieder verreist. Doch bevor es für mich wieder auf Reise geht, wollte ich heute mit euch ein Paar Beauty Essentials für den Sommer teilen, die Sonnencreme und den Moisturizer von Paula's Choice. DE: Was ich im Sommer am liebsten mag, sind all die coolen Musikfestivals! In England kennt man ja Glastonbury oder Wireless Festival. Für mich geht es dieses Jahr mit meinen Freunden jedoch nach Süddeutschland zum Southside Festival. 3 Tage voller Musik, guter Stimmung und großartiger Gesellschaft. Zu diesem Anlass habe ich meinen Festival Look in Zusammenarbeit mit Zalando für euch zusammengestellt. Wieder mal ganz in Schwarz! Zu einem perfekten Festival Outfit gehören natürlich auch coole Accessoires. This must be by far my favorite shoot with Lina while we were enjoying the island of Fuerteventura. Florals just make the best backdrop don't you think? They gave my almost all black outfit a very romantic twist. We shot this editorial for C&A and just stumbled over the location to be honest. You can always trust Lina to find the most fitting location as outfits vary.
I wore the most comfy jersey dress designed by my super babe Alice. It is one of those dresses you just feel comfortable wearing, while feeling very feminine and sexy at the same time. I added my Sandals from C&A to make the look more edgy. The colorful clutch by Rawsugar.nl added the right amount of color to my Outfit. Thanks to Farina for lending me this beauty.

DE: Das muss wohl mein absolutes Lieblingsshoot mit Lina sein, fotografiert auf Fuerteventura. Wir haben nicht nur die Sonne genossen und unglaublich gut gegessen. Wir durften auf dieser tollen Insel nämlich so einige Outfits ablichten. Dieses entsand in Zusammenarbeit mit C&A. Die schöne Location bzw. den tollen Hintergrund fanden wir auf dem Weg zu unserer eigentlichen Location. Ich finde besser hätte diese jedoch nicht sein können. Die wunderschönen Blumen geben meinem Look einen romantischen Touch. Ich trug ein super bequemes Jerseykleid von Designerin Alice. Ich habe mich so wohl gefühlt in diesem Kleid. Es ist sehr lässig, aber gleichzeitig auch ziemlich edel und trotz oversize Look, sexy. Meine Plateusandalen von C&A machten den Look ein bisschen mehr edgy. Das i-Tüpfelchen war dann die farbenfrohe Clutch von Rawsugar.nl (danke Farina).
